Dodge City - Abraham Morales Santos, 28, died October 29, 2023 at St. Catherine Hospital, Dodge City.  He was born on August 2, 1995 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Martin and Lucia (Santos) Morales.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Abraham was a devoted father and loved spending time with his family. He was always laughing and joking. He enjoyed boxing and lived day by day. He was the best brother and a good uncle. His favorite food was his mother's flour tortillas and beans. He had a contagious smile and was the life of the party or any room he would walk into. He loved his dogs and was excited about breeding them. He had many good plans and was ready to turn his life around.

He is survived by his parents; children, Azariah M. Morales and Azaiah J. Morales; the mother of his sons, Victoria Saldana; siblings, Sonia Janeth Alvear of Juarez, Mexico, Sonia H. Castillo (Nelson), Martin Morales (Adiana), and Francisco J. Morales; significant other, Daniela Hernandez and their baby on the way; and nieces and nephews, Carlos Alvear, Anahi Castillo, Anthony Castillo, Kamila Castillo, Ximena Castillo, Jairo Castillo, Adan Morales, Anea Morales, and Aurelio Morales everyone of Dodge City. He was preceded in death by an infant sibling; his paternal grandfather, Martin Morales; and maternal grandmother, Francisca Santos De La Torre.

A Rosary will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe before the mass on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 9:00 AM. Funeral service will be held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Wesley Schawe presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Tenía muchos buenos planes y estaba listo para cambiar su vida.

Lo sobreviven sus padres; hijos, Azariah M. Morales y Azaiah J. Morales; la madre de sus hijos, Victoria Saldana; hermanos, Sonia Janeth Alvear de Juárez, México, Sonia H. Castillo (Nelson), Martín Morales (Adiana) y Francisco J. Morales; su pareja, Daniela Hernández y su bebé en camino; y sobrinos y sobrinas, Carlos Alvear, Anahi Castillo, Anthony Castillo, Kamila Castillo, Ximena Castillo, Jairo Castillo, Adán Morales, Anea Morales y Aurelio Morales, todos de Dodge City. Lo precedió en la muerte un hermano pequeño; su abuelo paterno, Martín Morales; y abuela materna, Francisca Santos De La Torre.

Se realizará un Rosario en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe antes de la misa del sábado 4 de noviembre de 2023 a las 9:00 a.m. El funeral se llevará a cabo en la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe el sábado 4 de noviembre de 2023 a las 10:00 a. m. con el P. Wesley Schawe preside. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio Maple Grove en Dodge City.
