ADALINE LOUISE JUDD
Cimarron - Adaline Louise Judd, 89, died February 20, 2014 at The Shepherd's Center in Cimarron. She was born on January 20, 1925 at Cassoday, KS the daughter of Floyd and Agnes (Maguire) Knab.
Mrs. Judd attended grade school in Cassoday and graduated from Strong City High School in 1942. She married Howard "Dutch" Brown on December 7, 1943 in Wichita. He then preceded her in death. She later married Alan Judd on December 20, 1974. He preceded her in death. Adaline worked as a housewife, restaurant owner, and housekeeper. Adaline moved to Cimarron in 2001 from Kansas City, KS.
She is survived by one daughter, Pam Smith and husband Tom of Ingalls; grandchildren, Roy Brown of Strong City, Brian Brown of Wellington, Michelle Brownlee and huband Mark of Wellington, Charlotte Neuschafer and husband Larry of Cimarron, Christine Bock and husband Steve of Cimarron, Chelly Rosales and husband De of Cimarron, and Lori Herkelman and husband Kerry of Cimarron; 22 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and 4 to be arriving soon.
In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by one brother, Willard; one sister, Mildred; and one son, Howard "Dutchy" Brown, Jr.
Funeral service will be held at Cimarron United Methodist Church on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Mike Keating presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Cimarron on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from 12:00 - 6:00 P.M.. Memorials are suggested to The Shepherd's Center in care of the funeral home.
