Spearville - Agnes Rabe, 93, died December 3, 2020 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. She was born on August 1, 1927 at Willowdale, Kansas the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Reibein) Arensdorf.

She married Marvin Rabe on January 5, 1954 at Willowdale, Kansas, he preceded her in death on April 27, 2001. Mrs. Rabe was a homemaker and lifelong resident of the Windthorst and Spearville communities.

She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Spearville as well as the Willowdale D of I and the Spearville D of I.

She is survived by her eight sons Terry Rabe and wife Belinda of Dodge City; Gary Rabe of Dodge City; Randy Rabe of Dodge City; Tim Rabe and wife Cindy of Bucklin; Kevin Rabe and wife Jan of Spearville; Kenny Rabe of Dodge City; Tom Rabe of Spearville; Bob Rabe of Dodge City and 15 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren and     3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents two sisters Coletta Soellner, Josephine Arensdorf and five brothers Leo Arensdorf, Tony Arensdorf, James Arensdorf, John Arensdorf and George Arensdorf.

Funeral mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Wednesday,December 9, 2020 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Forkuoh presiding.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Windthorst. Visitation will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Vigil service will be  7:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Spearville. Memorials are suggested to Windthorst Heritage or Manor of the Plains Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
