ALICE ROSE WISEMAN
Wright - Alice Rose Wiseman, 86, died December 1, 2013 at her home . She was born on February 15, 1927 at Richmond, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Peden) Ross.
Mrs. Wiseman attended and graduated from Richmond High School in Richmond, Indiana. She married Don Wiseman on January 22, 1949 in Dodge City, he preceded her in death on August 27, 1999. Mrs. Wiseman was a homemaker and also was engaged in farming with her husband for many years.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dodge City, United Methodist Women, Wright Senior Center and several Bridge Clubs in the area.
She is survived by her son Brent Wiseman of Wright;two daughters Sheila Newell of Rocklin, California;Sonja Montgomery of Cummings, Kansas; one brother Stanley Ross of Sierra Vista, Arizona. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don and brother Vernon Ross.
Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Burial will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Hospice Of The Prairie in care of the funeral home.
