Dodge City - Alida Bilbrey, 64, died July 18, 2020 at her home in Dodge City. She was born on August 20, 1955 at Colima, Mexico the daughter of Jose and Consuelo (Toscano) Perez.
She loved to go dancing, camping, gardening and traveling in her spare time. Mrs. Bilbrey worked as a daycare provider for many years. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with them whenever she could.
She is survived by one son Yairo Hidalgo of Dodge City; three daughters Jadell Hidalgo of Dodge City; Lorena Rubero of Toledo, Ohio; Deciry Harley as well as eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers Javier Perez, Andres Toscano, Guillermo Perez and four sisters Tina Perez, Martha Bueno, Irma Perez and Martha Prado.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Rogelio Toscano and Mario Perez.
Funeral mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday July 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Wesley Schawe presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Vigil service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Memorials are suggested to Alida Bilbrey Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
