Dodge City - Allen Dean Eberhart, 66, died November 15, 2022 at his home in Dodge City.  He was born on August 24, 1956 at Wichita, the son of Allen Eberhart and Betty Jean Cummins.

Allen grew up in Los Angeles and was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School. He served in the United States Marine Corp. Allen worked as a maintenance man at Disneyland in Anaheim, California before moving to Dodge City. He worked at Curtis Machine in Dodge City as a machinist. Allen loved to spend time with friends and loved animals.

Allen is survived by his children, Richard Allen Eberhart of Manhattan and Andrea Johnson of North Carolina; five sisters, Lisa Brown of Dodge City, Robin Hertel of Dodge City, Tracy Gallegos of Pueblo, Colorado, Sandy Giannino of Dodge City, and Cheryl Hopp of Lofland, Nevada; two grandchildren; his companion, Tina Garrrison and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, a sister, Rose Marie Eberhart and companion, Susan Horton.

A celebration reception will be held at a later date. There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Allen Eberhart Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
