Ft. Dodge - Aloysious M. Werner, 76, died February 6, 2020 at the Kansas Soldiers Home, Ft. Dodge.  He was born on July 5, 1943 at Leavenworth, the son of Edward P. and Catherine Cannon.

Aloysious was born and raised in the Kansas City Area and was a graduate of North Kansas City High School in 1962. He joined the US Air Force after graduating and served from 1963 to 1967. Aloysious returned to Kansas City after the military, where he worked for the City of Kansas City, the railroad, and in an automotive assembly plant. He later worked part time at Joseph A. Butler funeral home in Kansas City. Mr. Werner moved from Leavenworth to Ft. Dodge in 2016 where he has resided since.

Graveside service will be held at the Leavenworth National Cemetery at Leavenworth, Kansas on Wednesday February 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Military honors provided by Whiteman AFB Honor Guard.
