Dodge City - Amy Sanchez, 49, died June 6, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on February 4, 1973 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Jane (Mariche) Sanchez.

She loved to work on Diamond Art as well as keep up with family and friends on Face Book. Amy also enjoyed listening to music, working on word search and crossword puzzles. She worked at Wal Mart for a short time before her health made her retire.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

She is survived by her father, Charles Sanchez of Dodge City; one daughter,  Sierra Winstead of Dodge City; two sons,  Xavier Winstead and companion Leslie Lewis of Pflugerville, Texas and Haven Winstead and wife Daisy of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Cheryl Sanchez Holcomb and husband Cody of Dodge City; two brothers, Charles Sanchez Jr. of Dodge City and Jeff Sanchez and wife Dana of Claremore, Oklahoma. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Haven Jr., and Zulema as well as two nephews, Christian and Ayden; and three nieces, Rileigh, Elyse, and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Sanchez.

Private Memorial service will be held at a later date.There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Memorials are suggested to Amy Sanchez Memorial fund in care of the funeral home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
