ANGELA PAULINE BURKHART

Dodge City - Angela Pauline Burkhart, 44, died January 10, 2014 at her home from health complications due to asthma. She was born on January 26, 1969 at Dodge City the daughter of Darrell Eugene Burkhart and Nancy Alice Baber.

Angela attended Ensign grade school, Dodge City public schools and was employed by Gladden Farms. She enjoyed swimming, the outdoors, and spending time at the family farm.

She is survived by her father, Darrell Burkhart and his wife Beverly of Dodge City; her mother, Nancy Baber of Halstead; two daughters, Cessia Walker and husband Kyle of Temecula, CA and Destiny McGonigle of Ashland; one son, Ceth Tepe of Dodge City; two sisters, Kimberly and Donna Burkhart of Dodge City; one brother, Kenny Burkhart of Dodge City; numerous uncles, Tom Baber and wife Annette of Chicago, IL, Larry Burkhart and Mike Burkhart and wife Mindy of Dodge City; Aunts, Patsy Fredlake of Kinsley and Susie Sanders of Colorado; her grandfather, Kenneth Gladden of Dodge City; her grandmother, Alice Calender of Kinsley; nieces, Katie and Chelsea Wheatcroft of Dodge City and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Agnes Gladden; three uncles, Bill, Jerry and Richard Baber; and one aunt, Linda Korbel.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Terrance Klein presiding. Entombment will follow at Greencrest Mausoleum of Peace in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from Noon to 8:00 PM.
