Dodge City - Anna Marie (Stark) Eckles passed peacefully with her immediate family by her side on May 21, 2021.  She was born on November 26, 1917.

Murry will be remembered fondly by the many whose lives she touched. Family, friends, artists, musicians, neighbors and many fellow travelers she met and inspired on her path through life. Murry was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a healer, a uniter, a cheerleader, a teacher and an example for us all on how to live. Her positive attitude was contagious and her graciousness was something for all of us to aspire to.

Anna Marie is survived by her son Jeff and his wife Yinzi (Silver) Cui; her daughter, Amy and husband Wei Li Hu; and Cheryl Eckles; grandchildren, Kent Eckles, Matthew Eckles and wife Emily, Christy Walters and husband Van, Andrea Rodriguez and husband Alejandro, Jedidiah Brown and wife Lorena; and great grandchildren, Alexandra and Dane Eckles, Mia and Oliver Rodriguez, William (Billy), Johnny and Janie Eckles, Emma and Jack Brown, and Katie Walters. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Amy Bailey Stark and Edward (Ted) Stark; her step mother, Mae Stark; her husband, Jack E. Eckles; her sisters, Donnie Certain (Stark) and Bette Mae Saunders (Stark); her brother, Harold Dean (Skip) Stark; and her son, William C. Eckles.

A brief family burial at Maple Grove Cemetery has taken place; a much larger and public celebration of her life will take place in the summer or fall and will be widely publicized.
