Manhattan - Anna M. Imel, 67, died April 1, 2022 at Meadowlark Hills Nursing Home in Manhattan, Kansas. She was born on January 3, 1955 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Bernardo and Anita (Herrera) Lopez.

She enjoyed watching television and working on word search and crossword puzzles in her spare time. Anna cherished the time that she could spend with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one daughter Katie Grote of Phillipsburg, Kansas; two sons Lucas Imel of Phillipsburg, Kansas and Dwight Imel Jr. of Dodge City as well as three granddaughters Celeste, Kadence, Blakely and four grandsons Carter, Emerson, Corbin and Easton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Benny Lopez.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday April  8, 2022 at 10:30 AM with Mr. Dusty Cookson presiding.  Burial will follow at Green Crest Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Anna M.
