DODGE CITY - Anna Mary Myers, 91, died June 4, 2011 at her home in Dodge City. She was born on March 9, 1920 in Windthorst, the daughter of John and Anna (Hain) Novack.

Anna grew up in Windthorst and attended school there. On November 21, 1942, she married Roland Myers at Windthorst. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2007. They moved to Dodge City in 1945. In 1980, they moved to Offerle where they resided for 25 years before moving back to Dodge City. Anna loved flowers, gardening, and raising chickens.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge both of Dodge City.

Anna is survived by six children, Donald Myers and wife Linda of Liberal, Kenneth Myers of Dodge City, Les Myers of Dodge City, Mary Grable of Branson, Missouri, Mike Myers of Branson, Missouri, and Shirley Keith of Dodge City; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Roland, Anna is preceded in death by her parents, two son in laws, Donald Keith and Terry Lauber; two great grandchildren, Summer and David Myers; and three brothers, John, Henry, and Edward Novack.

Vigil service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dodge City on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Ted Skalsky presiding. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Windthorst. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, June 6, 2011 from Noon to 7:00 PM.
