Anne Lehmann Gould, 78, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. She was born on July 6, 1932 in Dodge City, the daughter of Leo Wilhelm and Celia (Kenton) Lehmann.
Anne graduated from Dodge City High School in 1949 and then attended the University of Kansas. She married Jack Stewart and later married George R. Gould, Jr. Anne worked for the Dodge City Daily Globe and Fiest Publications. She was active as an volunteer for the American Red Cross. Anne loved baseball and playing duplicate bridge.
Anne is survived by three daughters, Sharon Stewart of San Rafael, California, Charlotte Scharer of Falcon, Colorado, and Edie Gould of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; one son, Frederick Beau Gould of Seattle, Washington; one sister, Kay Berghaus of Meade; and seven grandchildren, Jesse Rosenstock, David Anderson, Sean Anderson, Haley Scharer, Justin Scharer, Grace Gould, and Hope Gould.
Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, on Friday, July 30, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the American Red Cross or to the Dodge City Public Library in care of the funeral home.
