Ocala, Florida – Annette Marie Lopez, 65, passed away September 15, 2025 in Ocala, Florida. She was born on June 15, 1960 in Dodge City, the daughter of Aurora "Dora" (Ramon) and Leopoldo "Leo" Martinez.

She was very good at pool and bowling, she even competed in Las Vegas. She was a Kansas City Chiefs fanatic. Annette loved to dance. She was an amazing cook. She took over as the family matriarch and became the glue that held her family together. She loved helping people. Stranger or friend, she was known to give anyone a ride. She was always willing to give a helping hand.

She is survived by her children: Joe and Rachael Martinez of Ocala, Florida, Libia and Noe Ontiveros of Wichita, Rosa and Miguel Aguilera of Dodge City, and Monica and Rudy of Wichita; grandchildren: Mataia, Mercedes, Genesis, Dora, Aubree, Issac (Anissa), Miguel, Hector, Gabriel, Benjamin, Rudy, Raymond, Rocky, and Rmani; great-grandchildren: Gianna and Ian; siblings, Elvira Martinez, Marion Asebedo, Debbie Goolsby, Jessica Roets, Nora Guerrero, JoAnna Martinez, and Johnny Martinez; as well as many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Eddy, Leo, Jr., and Lizzy Martinez.

Memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church at 10:00AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 with Pastor Dusty Cookson presiding with a burial to follow at Greencrest Memorial Garden. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
