Sublette – Aron Fehr, 67, died March 15, 2024 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born on August 27, 1956 in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Peter and Helena (Buckert) Fehr.

Aron spent his childhood in Mexico. In 1976, Aron married Helen Schellenberg. They moved to the United States in 1981. Aron enjoyed working and keeping busy. He was well loved and respected by his family, friends, and community. Aron's wife, children and grandchildren were his greatest enjoyment. Family trips and traveling brought him great pleasure. He loved the Lord and had a desire to share his faith with others.

He attended the Living Gospel Church of Sublette.

Those left to cherish the memories are his wife, Helen of Sublette: four children, Tina Peters and husband Hans of Seminole, Texas, Lena Dyck and husband Pete of Sublette, Abe Fehr of Marshall, Texas, and Lisa Friesen and husband Gerhard of Friona, TX; 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four brothers; and four sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Funeral service will be held at Living Gospel Church, Sublette on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Gerhard Penner presiding. Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 2:00-6:00PM. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
