Audrey Hewes Magouirk Strawn, 90, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City. She was born on September 3, 1920 in Ingalls, the daughter of A.H. and Bertha (Crick) Hewes.

Audrey was a graduate of Ingalls High School. She married Marvin L. Magouirk. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1947. Audrey then married Carl Strawn on July 23, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 20, 1998.

She belonged to the Ingalls Community Bible Church and was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Audrey is survived by a sister, Alene Fisher of Leoti, a nephew, Don Schmidt of Ingalls, a great niece, Julie Schmidt of Derby, and a great great nephew, Landon O'Connor of Derby. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Rex Hewes, George Hewes, and J.D Hewes; and two sisters, Rachel O'Neal and Hazel Davidson.

Graveside service will be held at Cimarron Cemetery on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Cimarron, on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from noon to 6:00 PM. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
