DODGE CITY - Barbara Ann Kelley-Youngman, 75, died September 18, 2012 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home, Dodge City. She was born on August 25, 1937 at Killeen, Texas the daughter of George and Dollie (Roberts) Pedigo.
Barbara grew up in Killeen, Texas and attended schools there. On April 10, 1953, she married Cleo Kelley at Killeen, Texas. They lived in Hutchinson for several years. In 1972, she married Robert Youngman at Hutchinson. They lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 13 years. They traveled together in conjuction with Mr. Youngman's trucking business. They moved to Dodge City in 1988.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Hutchinson.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert Youngman of Dodge City; two sons, David Kelley and wife Bobbie of Hutchinson and Richard Kelley and wife Janet of Dodge City; three brothers, Ted Pedigo and wife Lynn, Don Pedigo and wife Phyllis and Kenny Pedigo and wife Sandy all of Alberquerque, New Mexico; two sisters, Ruby Strawn and husband Larry and Linda Earns and husband Mark both of Hutchinson; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Terry Kelley.
Graveside service will be held at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery & Mausoleum, Hutchinson on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Keith Tallent presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from noon to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
