Belen (Erives) Davis, 27, died June 15, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born on March 7, 1984 in Stanton, Texas, the daughter of Efrain and Eduvijes "Vicki" (Madrid) Erives.
Belen attended school in Stanton, Texas and then graduated from Dodge City High School in 2003. She also attended Dodge City Community College. On July 25, 2009, she married Jeremy Davis at the Dodge City Church of the Nazarene. He survives. Belen was employed with USD #443 of Dodge City.
She was a member of the Dodge City Church of the Nazarene and was PTO president at Northwest Elementary School.
Belen is survived by her husband,Jeremy Davis of the home; two sons, Karsen Dale Davis and Justin James Hernandez both of the home; one daughter, Shaylei Daneile Davis of Jetmore; six brothers, Miguel Erives and wife Elvia of Stanton, Texas, Abel Erives and wife Cynthia of Stanton, Texas, Efrain Erives, Jr. and wife Laura of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ernesto Erives, Mexico, Elliot Erives, Odessa, Texas, twin brother, Gus Erives and wife Alexa of Dodge City; six sisters, Isabel Erives of Midland, Texas, Maribel Chapa and husband Marcial of Lampasas, Texas, Reyna Erives of Marble Falls, Texas, Myrna Erives of Dodge City, Elvia Erives of Dodge City, and Mindy Hornback and husband Dallas of Minneola; her father, Efrain Erives of Mexico, father and mother in-law, Kenneth and Joyce Davis of Dodge City; sister-in-law, Delinda Davis of Lee's Summit, Missouri; brother-in-law, Jason Davis of Norman, Oklahoma; 33 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eduvijes "Vicki" (Madrid) Erives and a brother, Leonel Erives.
Funeral service will be held at Dodge City Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Jason Goetz presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
