IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bernabe E.
Rincon Sr.
November 26, 1996 – January 4, 2025
Dodge City - Bernabe E. Rincon, Sr.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bernabe E. Rincon, Sr., age 28, on January 4, 2025, in Dodge City, Kansas. Affectionately known as "Bola" by his family, a nickname was given to him at birth by his uncle. Over time, the nickname became a perfect fit for Bernabe, reflecting his love of sports and his fun-loving personality.
Bernabe was a devoted husband to Xochitl Rincon, a loving father to Bernabe E. Rincon, Jr., and the cherished son of Chanda Hudson and Bernabe and Tabitha Rincon.
Bernabe was a beloved brother to Nicolas, Tavin, Mikeal, Mason, Caleb, and Courtney and a loyal friend to all. He never met a stranger and was known for his infectious laugh, beautiful soul, and kind spirit.
Born and raised in Dodge City, Bernabe was a proud graduate of Dodge City High School, Class of 2015, where he excelled in sports and formed lifelong friendships. He was an integral part of the team at GMC of Dodge City, dedicating his days to his work and his nights to his family, the center of his world.
Bernabe's greatest achievements in life were marrying the love of his life, Xochitl, and becoming a devoted father to his son, Bernabe Jr. His life was firmly rooted in his faith in God and his love for Jesus Christ. His devotion and passion for his faith were evident in the way he lived, sharing kindness, compassion, and love with everyone around him. He was a beacon of light and hope, always striving to reflect God's love in his actions and words.
A passionate supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs—arguably their biggest fan—and the Kansas City Royals, Bernabe's enthusiasm for life and his favorite teams was contagious. His kindness, his faith, and his love were felt deeply by everyone fortunate enough to meet him.
Bernabe is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Raymond Moore, and his paternal grandparents, Eleuterio and Tomasa Rincon. He joins them now in the Kingdom of the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Xochitl; his son, Bernabe Jr.; his parents; his siblings; his (step) grandfather and grandmother, Eddie Cummings and Cheryl Moore; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Bernabe leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, unwavering faith, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. So simply honor his legacy by spreading kindness, sharing love, and living with faith, just as he did every day. Live Like Bola Would #LLBW.
