BERNADEAN E. MOORE

DODGE CITY-
Bernadean E. Moore, 93, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Minneola District Hospital, Minneola, KS. She was born on November 6, 1915 in Livingston County, Missouri, the daughter of William Roy and Pearl B. (Shinogle) Templeman.

Mrs. Moore moved with her family to a farm northeast of Minneola. Her family spent their winters in Aransas Pass, Texas, where she graduated from high school, and met Argyle T. Moore. They were married October 11, 1934 at Norman, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1995. The couple resided in Corpus Christi, Texas, until they moved to the farm in Kansas. They later moved to Minneola.

She was a member of Church Of Christ, Dodge City.

Survivors include one daughter, Janel Marshall and husband Brent of Hutchinson, and one brother, Bill R. Templeman of Minneola, five grandchildren, Sherri Riley, Regan Marshall, and Michael Marshall, all of Hutchinson; Dayna Reed Toth, Boulder, Colorado; Erik Reed, Overland Park; nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter Judy Reed.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Mr. Anthony Lyons presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2009 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Memorials can be made to Church of Christ, Dodge City or Minneola District Hospital Long Term Care Unit , in care of Swaim Funeral Home, 1901 6th Avenue, Dodge City, Kansas, 67801.
