HALTOM CITY, TX - Betty Jo Linder Franklin passed peacefully on thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2014 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on August 9, 1927 in Meade, the daughter of Ellis and Esther (Brock) Linder.

Betty was a Dodge CIty resident from 1945 to 2010 before her final move to Texas. Wife of 50 years to the late Ralph Earl Franklin.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Sandra Green and Kathyrn Askari of Texas; a sister, Estella Schmidt of Wichita; five grandchildren, Teresa Martinez, Doug Ingram, Anthony Green, Kristin Hebert, and Daniel Askari; six great grandchildren, Joseph Sanchez, Tiffany Martinez, Lacey Martinez, Bailey Martinez, Ahna Hebert, and Luciana Askari; and great great grandchildren, Kaiden, Jordan, Doug, Bobby, and boy due in January of 2015.She was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Linder; and a sister, Irene Linder.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Darrell Hendrickson presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to in care of the funeral home.
