Dodge City - Betty Martinez, 91, died November 21, 2022 at Dodge City. She was born on March 24, 1931 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Cruz and Jenny (Sanchez) Soza.

She married Jesus Q. Martinez in February of 1948 in Dodge City, he preceded her in death on October 3, 1997.   .

She is survived by three brothers, one sister, two daughters, two sons and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Q. Martinez and one daughter.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Saturday November 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM with Mr. Jeff  Hiers presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie in care of the funeral home.
