Dodge City - Beverly Ann Leach, 86, died February 20, 2023 in her daughter's home surrounded by family.  She was born on February 5, 1937 in Pratt, Kansas the daughter of John Hugh and Hazel Doraine (Langley) White.

Beverly grew up in Pratt most of her younger life and lived in Hutchinson, Hanston, Jetmore, and Dodge City most of her adult life. She married Jack Calvin Leach on December 5, 1988. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1989.

She worked for the Southwestern Bell out of high school in 1956 as a telephone operator. She had many different jobs in her life. Her most enjoyed employments were with the Hungry Farmer Café, Hanston State Bank and Landmark Bank. She worked as a Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent for the last 19 years. She attended the First Christian Church and donated to the VFW.

Beverly was very passionate about gardening and spending time with family and friends. There wasn't a time that she didn't stop to talk to someone anywhere she went. She researched all branches of her family's genealogy for the past 50 years going all the way back to the 1600's.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Zeyen and husband Mark Zeyen; a grandson, Devin Zeyen and wife Fongsamouth (Buffy); three grandkids, CJ, Anthony, and Johnathan Zeyen; and her first cousin, Larry Langley of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Jack Leach; and a daughter, Bertina Annette.

Graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt, KS on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM with pastor Mike McGovney presiding. There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.
