Bill Walker, 79, of Dodge City, went home to be with the Lord October 26, 2020 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, due to complications stemming from Covid -19. He was joined in heaven by his loving wife of almost 58 years, Sally (Pyle) Walker, 77, when she succumbed to illness due to the virus on November 28, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

Bill was born on June 4, 1941 in Denver Colorado to Oscar and Marie Walker. Sally was born January 8, 1943 in Dodge City, the daughter of Everett and Alveretta Pyle. Bill joined the United States Air Force in 1959 and was stationed at McConnell AFB in Wichita, where he met Sally while she was attending nursing school at Wichita State University. They were married on February 17, 1963 in Dodge City. Bill and Sally settled in Wichita after the end of Bill's military service, eventually moving to Dodge City where they remained.

They are survived by children, Bonnie Walker of Dodge City, Cherise Johnston and husband, Bob of Dodge City, Scott Walker and wife, Connie of Wichita; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Bill and Sally were preceded in death by their eldest daughter, Denise Walker in 1965 and their youngest son, Marc Walker in 2019. Bill is also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister.  Sally is also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
