Dodge City – Billy" Wayne" Gingerich, 85, died May 29, 2025 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City.  He was born on January 20, 1940 at Rodney, Arkansas the son of William and Vada (Sanders) Gingerich.

He is survived by his wife Debra of the home, three daughters Christine Smith and husband Chad of Dodge City; Monica Lampe and husband Shawn of Dodge City; Amanda Anderson of Dodge City and one son Jeremy Anderson and wife Jennifer of Derby; one brother Jerry Gingerich of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren twenty five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Mark Gingerich, two sisters Wanda and Laura.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Abundant Life Family Church, Dodge City. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.  A complete obituary will follow at a later date.
