Dodge City – Brent Alan Anderson, 62, died September 2, 2022 at his home in Dodge City.  He was born on April 19, 1960 in Salina, the son of Eyler and Delores (Oborg) Anderson.

The family moved several times in Brent's early childhood.  He lived in Salina, Great Bend, and Hutchison before moving to Dodge City.  Brent was a 1978 graduate of Dodge City High School.  After high school, he worked as a millwright repairing mills throughout southwest Kansas.  Brent then went to work for Highland Dairy in Dodge City for over 20 years.  Most recently, Brent was driving truck for O'Neil's of Dodge City. Brent enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.  He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Brent is survived by his father, Eyler of Salina; three siblings, Barbara Bowman and husband Joe of Marquette, Keith Anderson of Marquette, and Kurtis Anderson and wife Sherry of Dodge City; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Delores and a brother, Kory Anderson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.  There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.
