Dr. Brent J. Haskell, the son of Robert and Carolyn (Andrews) Haskell, was born May 27, 1972 in Dodge City, Kansas.  His childhood years were spent in Dodge City, where he received his early education, graduating from Dodge City High School in 1991 and then earning his Associate of Science degree in 1993 from Dodge City Community College.  He furthered his education at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO where he graduated in 1998. But the learning didn't stop there. He traveled all over the U.S. continuing to learn throughout the remainder of his life. After chiropractic school, he returned to his hometown in Dodge City to start his practice, eventually setting up an extension in Garden City. For 27 years, Dr. Haskell specialized in the art of kinesiology and acupuncture while working on individuals through looking at the human body as a whole.

Brent married Brianne Beck on October 15, 2011 in Spencer, Iowa.  To this union, they had two children, Brock and Brielle.  Brent genuinely cared and had compassion for people, which is what led him to Chiropractic school, however his care for people went even beyond. His greatest passion was his family and kids. In his past, he liked to ride ATV's and horses. Brent would often be seen around town with his kids either: mowing lawns, swimming, riding bikes, or going to the park. He also liked looking at cars. Brent didn't know a stranger. Although his life was short, he had a great impact on those that had the privilege to know him.

He was currently attending the Dodge City Church of Nazarene, and was always talking about his confidence in knowing where his future was and in the prophesies to come. Brent passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the age of 52. He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn, Mother-in-Law Christine (Parsons) Beck and Father-in-Law, Larry Beck. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Brianne and children, Brock and Brielle ; father, Robert Haskell of Dodge City; brother, Brad Haskell (Tamra) of Arapaho, Oklahoma; 2 nieces: Hannah Brosseau (Nick) of Aubrey, Texas and Laryssa Haskell of Enid, Oklahoma; one nephew Aaron Haskell (fiancé Lora Buntin) of Stillwater, Oklahoma; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.  A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery.  There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
