Satanta - Brett Alan Miller, 58, died October 8, 2021 in Satanta. He was born on March 9, 1963 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Larry and Bonnie (Siegfried) Miller.

Brett worked as an insurance adjuster for over 20 years in central Illinois, mostly adjusting for Lewistown Mutual in Lewistown, Illinois. He moved to Kansas three years ago to pursue his dream of being a cowboy. Brett was currently employed by Deseret Cattle Feeders of Satanta. Brett loved his family, his horses, and his dogs. He was a handyman and enjoyed working on things around the house and in the yard. Brett loved to watch westerns, especially John Wayne movies. He will be missed by many.

Brett is survived by his wife, Lynn (Simmons) Miller of Satanta; his father and step mother, Larry and Peggy Miller of Peoria, Illinois; mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Dale Baughman of Kismet; children, Austin Miller (Taylor) of Germantown Hills, Illinois, Brittney Tomic (Mark) of Wheeling, Illinois, and Tiffany Hutton (David Barr) of Pekin, Illinois; grandchildren, Adeline Miller, Brooks Tomic, and Dante, Nami, and Renton Barr; sisters, Shelly Kirby ( Mike) of Kismet and Amy Turner (Dusty) of Edmund, Oklahoma; father in law and mother-in-law, Ronny and Doris Simmons of Bluff City, Illinois; sister-in-law, Rhonda Ferree (Mark) of Havana, Illinois; one niece; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial service will be held at Pleasant Prairie Church of God, Satanta on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Mr. Randy Fisher presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
