BRETT WILLIAM MOCK
Dodge City - Brett William Mock, 19, died October 18, 2013 at Mercy Regional Health Center, Manhattan. He was born on March 5, 1994 at Dodge City, the son of Craig and Janie (Pennington) Mock.
Brett attended schools in Dodge City, and graduated from Dodge City High School in 2012. He was currently attending Kansas State University, and majoring in mechanical engineering. He was a member of Beta Sigma Psi Fraternity. He was also a member of the First Christian Church of Dodge City.
Brett is survived by his parents, Craig & Janie Mock of Dodge City; one sister, Macy Mock of Dodge City; paternal grandparents, Bruce & Joanne Mock of Dodge City, maternal grandparents, Bill & Ruanne Pennington of Dodge City, aunts and uncles, Diane and Buford Rohrbaugh, Cimarron; Dean and Rhonda Mock, Peoria, Illinois; Kay and Doug Owens, St. Marys, Kansas; Cindy and John Rose, Omaha, Nebraska; Tom and Gina Kimbrel, Marion, Kansas; and numerous cousins.
Memorial services will be held at the First Christian Church, Dodge City, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. Phil Scott presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Kanakuk Camp, Branson, Missouri, in care of Swaim Funeral Home, 1901 6th Avenue, Dodge City, Kansas, 67801.
