Carlan "Wolfie" Alberty Sr., 58, passed away on April 27, 2026, at his home in Dodge City, He was born on August 12, 1967 in Wichita, to Clifford Carter and Arlena Patterson.

Wolfie married Karla Reed on February 27, 1989 in Dodge City. He worked at Cargill and was the meat market manager at Dillons. Wolfie owned Alberty's Gormet Meats in Dodge City. He also was a home remodeling carpenter. Carlan enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, playing pool and domino's.

He is survived by wife, Karla Alberty of Dodge City,; mother, Arlena Alberty Jackson and husband Donny of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; son, Carlan Alberty, Jr of Wichita; three daughters, Arlisa Alberty of Denver, Colorado, Kendra Alberty of Wichita, and Elexis Alberty of Dodge City; 12 grandchildren Jalyn Alberty, Zayden Stensland (Zigg), Draven Chambers, Ra'Niyah Thomas, Rayla Thomas, Elijah Alberty, Brittanya Alberty, Bryan Alberty, Miah Alberty, Mayan Alberty, Celestino Alberty, Ezra Alberty two brothers, Sherman and wife Becky and Eric Alberty and wife Nina both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and sister, Pamula Adams and husband Darryl of Warren, Arkansas. Wolfie was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Carter; sister, April Baker and one grandson.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Maple Grove Cemetery, 1000 N. Hillside St, Wichita, KS. Visitation will be on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 1:00 to 8:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Dodge City.
