Obituary
Charlene Walters, 73, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at a Waco nursing center. She was born October 28, 1935 the daughter of Gordon and Beatrice Van Voorhis.
She married Otto Walters on June 8, 1978 at the First Baptist Church in Dodge City. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2009.
Survivors include daughter, Debbie Schreiber of Waco, TX and her son, John Schreiber of Covington, TX; daughter, Sheryl Fernandez and husband, Jerry and their daughter, Emerald, all of Brownwood, TX.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 3rd at Bucklin Cemetery with Dr. Gary Winget officiating. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
