Dodge City - Charles Edward Holuska, 82, died March 24, 2014 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. He was born on December 16, 1931 in Wichita the son of Joseph Franklin and Minnie Marie (Pruett) Holuska.
Mr. Holuska served in the United States Navy. He worked at Rounds & Porter in Dodge City for 42 years. On October 10, 1980 he married Patricia (Meyer) Cline.
Mr. Holuska is survived by his wife, Patricia (Meyer) Cline Holuska of Dodge City; four sons, Martin Holuska and wife Debby of Odessa, MO, Curtis Holuska of Brighton, CO, Bruce Holuska of Dodge City, and Mike Schuler of Dodge City; two daughters, Cindy Brown and Julie Hubert both of Dodge City; one brother, Roger Holuska of Dodge City; one sister, Delois Rice of Rialto, CA; 10 grandchildren and 8great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service will be held at theKansas Veterans' Cemetery in Fort Dodge on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Military Rites will be provided by Howard Gotschall Post #1714 V.F.W. and KSARNG Military Honors. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M..
