Topeka - Chris Allen Phillips, 57, died September 10, 2017 at his home in Topeka.  He was born on December 2, 1959 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Harold and Stella (Hall) Phillips.

He loved music and gymnastics and was the owner and operator of Capital City Gymnastics in Topeka for many years. Chris graduated from Dodge City High School and then attended and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in business.

He was a member of the Union of the Kroger Company.

He is survived by his mother Stella Phillips of Dodge City; one sister Cindy Adams and husband Randy of Spur, Texas; one brother Norman Phillips and wife Tara of Wichita as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew Aaron Phillips.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday September 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Allen Smith presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Donor's Choice in care of the funeral home.
