Dodge City – Clifford F. Reiss, 84, died January 22, 2025 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City, Kansas.  He was born on May 6, 1940 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Benjamin and Ruby (Jones) Reiss.

He married Joyce Lupton on March 27, 1967 in Dodge City, she survives. Clifford enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, working with his brother out on the farm and working on his model train set collection. He was very active with the FFA group in high school. He also enjoyed taking care of his lawn and helping out other people with their lawn care needs as well. Clifford worked as the assistant grain manager for the Dodge City Coop for 41 years before retiring.

He was a member of Grace Community Church in Dodge City.

He is survived by his wife Joyce of the home and two sons Darin Reiss and wife Laury of Haysville, Kansas and Kevin Reiss of Dodge City. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Loren Reiss and Norman Reiss.

Funeral service will be held at Grace Community Church on Tuesday January 28, 2025 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Kirk Larson presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
