Dodge City - Clyde M. Stone, 89, died December 18, 2022 at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado.  He was born on March 16, 1933 at Geuda Springs, the son of Louis W. and Dorismae (Graham) Stone.

Clyde grew up in Tribune and was a graduate of Greeley County High School. He married Mereta Morgan at Tribune. Clyde served in the US Navy. They moved to Dodge City in 1966 and have resided here since. Clyde was a route driver for Rainbow Bread for 30 years before retiring. He was active in the Dodge City Police Auxiliary.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Mereta Stone of Dodge City; a son, Lance Stone of Dodge City; a daughter, Mona Warren of Ellinwood; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Mercado and grandson, Justin Mercado.
