Dodge City - Cody Dean Ceniceros (Schauvliege), 17, died November 24, 2023 in rural Ford County.  He was born on July 15, 2006 at Dodge City, the son of Roxanne and Jorge Ceniceros.

Cody loved to fish, be outdoors and gaming. He had many collections of currency, gems, and crystals. He enjoyed hot summer days out on his kayak with his beloved bull terrier Oliver. Cody was a very loving and kind soul. He was always one to lean on in both good and hard times, non-judgmental and an open-minded young man. Cody's smile would light up a room and bring warmth and joy. He was the most sincere and authentic person you could ever meet and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Cody is survived by his parents, Roxanne and Jorge Ceniceros and Cody and Keishia Schauvliege; bonus mom, Latasha Bunch; siblings, Raymond and John Ceniceros, Kyla, Kameryn, and Kimber Schauvliege; grandparents, Patricia Rios, Ruben Rios, Connie Schauvliege-Behee, Max Behee, Maria Luisa Ramirez-Montanez, John Murrow and Charlotte Murrow; aunts and uncles, Veronica Rios, Krystal Rios, Ian Ceniceros-Ramirez, Martha Gutierrez-Ramirez, Tanner Schauvliege, Jennifer Schauvliege, Jamie Hall, Jason Hall, Kendra Wilkens, Aaron Wilkens, Kera Murrow and Mike Golden; cousins, Allazia & Chardana Galindo, Nicholas & Richman Ramos, Marcus, Adrian, Jaidia, and Isaiah Remigio, Emma & May Schauvliege, Evan, Kylee, Brentley, and Christian Wilkens, Guage & Taysia Isenbart, and Brayann Boyd.

He was preceded in death by John N. Rios, Jorge A. Ceniceros-Conde, and Leslie H. Schauvliege.

Funeral service will be held at First Christian Church on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Dusty Cookson presiding. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Cody Ceniceros Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home, Swaim Funeral Chapel, 1901 6th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801.
