Dodge City - Connie Kay Kulbiski, 72, died October 9, 2023 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City.  She was born on March 22, 1951 at Valentine, Nebraska the daughter of Paul and Betty (Olmann) Riemers.

Connie was raised on the family ranch, and graduated from Valentine High School followed by Alliance Nursing School. She married Kenny Kulbiski on April 24, 1976. Connie worked as a nurse for over 40 years. She loved nature, flowers, reading and cats.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenny; mother, Betty Reimers of Valentine, Nebraska; sister, Nancy (Bob) Simmons of Cody, Nebraska; two nieces, Tara Bantam and Tracy Linster both of Omaha, Nebraska; two nephews, Nick Simmons of Cody, Nebraska and Aarron Simmons of Park City, Kansas; two step sons, Kristopher of Grand Junction, Colorado and Deric of Peyton, Colorado; as well as two cats, Jack and Dexter. Connie is preceded in death by her father, Paul Riemers; and step son, David.

In accordance with Connie's wishes, there will be no services.  Cremation has taken place and Connie's remains will be scattered on her beloved sandhills. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
