Wichita - Connie Walker, 60, died July 18, 2024 at her home in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on June 2, 1964 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Larry and Lenora (Kite) Isenbart. Connie Graduated from Dodge City High School in 1982.

She married Scott Walker on June 9, 1982 in Dodge City, he survives. Connie was a devoted and doting grandmother (Nana), who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved working on Arts and Crafts projects in her spare time and cooking. She had a lifelong passion for helping people in need which led to her vocation in nursing, with an emphasis on Hospice and Elderly Care. Connie was active in volunteering her time and talents with Triumphant Faith Center in Wichita where she was a church member.

She was previously a member of Abundant Life Family Church of Dodge City.

She is survived by her husband Scott of Wichita; mother Lenora Isenbart of Cimarron; three sons Nathan Walker of Clearwater, Kansas; Dallas Walker and wife Laura of Valley Center, Kansas; Dylan Walker and wife Esmeralda "Izzy" of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers Tim Isenbart of Dodge City; James Isenbart of Dodge City; three sisters Elnora "Ellie" Elmore of Cimarron; LaVonda Eckley of Glenwood, Iowa; Melanie Holder of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father Larry Isenbart, two Brothers Bill Isenbart, Paul Isenbart and one sister Bertha Pearl.

Memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Family Church in Dodge City, KS on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Lydia Ames presiding.  Internment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
