CORALEE CRAIG

DODGE CITY- Coralee Craig, 74, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Western Plains Medical Complex at Dodge City, KS. She was born on February 1, 1936 at Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Wilbur Roy and Zazle Katherine (Wesley) Underwood.

Coralee grew up on farm in Hodgeman County. She attended school at Prairie Home School there. She moved to Dodge City in 1945. In 1954, she married Jack Culver. Later she married Robert L. Craig on March 17, 1979 in Dodge City. He survives. She was employed for many years for AT&T, Centel, and the EyeWear Shop, all of Dodge City.


She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Dodge City and attended the First Southern Baptist Church of Dodge City.

Survivors include her husband Robert Craig of Dodge City: four sons, David Culver and wife Tina of Beaumont, Texas, Dennis Culver of San Leon, Texas, Darren Culver of Dickenson, Texas and Dustin Culver of Silsbee, Texas; three step daughters, Sheryl MacLean and husband Alan of Greencool Springs, Florida, Susan Aistrup of Springdale, Arkansas, Barbara Duesing and husband Ron Albrecht of Dodge City; two step sons, Bradley Craig and wife Lillian of Dodge City, and Bryan Craig and wife Cindy of Lakin; one brother, Wesley Underwood of Dodge City, one half brother, Robert Underwood of Topeka; one step sister Kathy Wichern of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Greg Savage presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The casket will remain closed.
