Obituary
Dodge City - Daniel E. Riley, 60, died July 31, 2012 at Western Plains Medical Complex , Dodge City . He was born on July 21,1952 at Dodge City, the son of George Patrick and Delite (Welsch) Riley.
Mr. Riley was a lifelong resident of Dodge City, graduating from Dodge City High School in 1970. He later graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelors degree. He enjoyed watching old movies and was a avid reader, and loved animals. Mr. Riley held the position of produce and dairy manager for 35 years at Dillons.
He is survived by his mother Delite Rumsey of Dodge City; and one sister Twila Blacklidge and husband Ed of Wichita. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding .Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 1:00 to 8:00PM. Memorials are suggested to Ford County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
