Cimarron - Daryl Dean Unruh, 67, died May 16, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on October 28, 1955 at Garden City, Kansas the son of Ezra and Irene Mary (Smith) Unruh.

He married, and is survived by, Patricia Lynn (Hannagan) on December 20, 1980 in Dodge City. He loved reading his Bible and attending Bible study groups at the church. Mr. Unruh also loved visiting the elderly at nursing homes whenever he had the chance. He was just a very friendly outgoing person and never met a stranger. Mr. Unruh loved riding his motorcycle, but his greatest love was to attend his grandchildren's events and spend time with his family.

He was a member of the Cimarron Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Lynn of the home; a daughter Rebecca and husband Brian Koehn of Cimarron; son Levi Unruh and wife Miranda of Garden City and daughter Kaitlin and husband Roman VanNahman of Cimarron. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ben and Eli Koehn, Scarlett, Avah Unruh, and Cooper, Evie, and Ezra VanNahman. He is also survived by two brothers Duane Unruh and wife Debbie of Greeley, Colorado; Kenneth Unruh and wife Nancy of Lewis, Kansas and two sisters Cheryl Unruh of Montezuma and Darla Unruh and husband Larry of Dalhart, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be held at Cimarron Methodist Church on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Mike Keating presiding. Inurnment will follow at Salem Mennonite Cemetery in Copeland. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
