David Duane Romesburg, 54, passed away on May 15, 2026 at Sunporch in Dodge City. He was born on September 10, 1971 in Dodge City the son of Duane Romesburg and Sherry (Rice) Law. He worked as a welder for Broce Manufacturing and later as a driver for FedEx. David enjoyed going fishing, hunting and shooting guns in his spare time. He also loved to ride his motorcycle with his friends every chance he could. He was a member of Kansas ABATE District #7. He is survived by his father Paul Duane Romesburg of Dodge City; biological father Michael Meyers of Branson, Missouri; two brothers Danny Romesburg of Dodge City; Steve Randall of Dodge City; one daughter Francile Holt of Dodge City. He is also survived by one granddaughter Jada Holt (Jada Bug) of Dodge City and three half sisters Misty Tenbrink of Spearville; Tera Mathewson of Galena, Missouri, Jennifer Werling of Branson, Missouri and thirteen aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Sherry Law.Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Church of Christ in Dodge City, to begin with a potluck lunch and funeral service to follow at 12:30 PM, then followed by a motorcycle procession from the church to the Fairmount Cemetery in Jetmore for the burial service. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial are suggested to David Romesburg Memorial fund in care of the funeral home.
