Ft. Dodge - Deana Scott, 89, died January 19, 2021 at Kansas Soldiers Home at Ft. Dodge.  She was born on May 30, 1931 at Marshall, Missouri the daughter of Samuel and Dolly (Wilson) Pace.

She married Marvin Scott on September 9, 1950 in Piper, Kansas, he preceded her in death on September 18, 1997. Mrs. Scott loved gardening, riding motorcycles, baking, and going on camping trips to Colorado. She loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Scott worked as a para professional for seventeen years before retiring.

She was a member of the Wilroads Gardens Christian Church and attended the Ft. Dodge Chapel.

She is survived by her children Bill and Dolly Baker of Dodge City; Sam and Dora Scott of Dodge City; David and Pam Scott of Denham Springs, Lousiana; Steve and Carla Ramirez of Lawrence, Kansas; foster children Pam Scott and Larry of Independence, Kansas; Rebekah Brading and Finance' Alan of Arkansas. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private family memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday January 22, 2021at 2:00 PM with Mr. Jeff  Hiers presiding. The service will be live streamed on Swaim Funeral Home Facebook page.
