Dodge City - Debra Ann Goodwin, 52, died February 9, 2021 at her home in Dodge City surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on December 30, 1968 in Dodge City, the daughter of Dale and Peggy (Harris) Crumb, the oldest of four siblings.

Debra graduated Dodge City High School in 1987. After high school, she had many long and successful careers, one of them being a cook. Debra was a security guard at National beef for the last 6 years of her life. She loved being a part of the team, even becoming a shift lead for National Beef for a short period of time.

Debra married her ex husband, Earl Goodwin in 1986. Although the union was not permanent, they made it 23 years of marriage and made a strong co-parenting team for their children whom they loved very much.

Debra is survived by her mother, Peggy Crumb; siblings, Brian Crumb, Rita Ortiz, and Randy Crumb; and her three children Jeremy Goodwin, Jessica Goodwin, and Jennifer Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Crumb; and two children, Rebecca Goodwin and Joshua Goodwin.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Mr. Jeff  Hiers presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to Debra Goodwin Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
