MONTEZUMA - Debra K. Unruh, 56, died March 26, 2013 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. She was born on April 2, 1956 in Dodge City, the daughter of Ervey A. and Norma (Smith) Unruh.

Debra graduated from Scott Community High School in 1974. She then attended Dodge City Community College and Barclay College in Haviland. Debbie enjoyed gardening. Her family was very important to her and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of the Gospel Fellowship Church of Montezuma.

Debbie is survived by three children, Wyatt Redger of Meade, Shilo Redger of Meade and Ashley Redger of Plains; her mother, Norma Unruh of Montezuma; three brothers, Greg Unruh and wife Pam of Onaga, Marshall Unruh and wife Janet of Ensign, and Dale Unruh and wife Janet of Montezuma; two sisters, Gailynn Unruh of Montezuma, and Barbara Loewen and husband Donald of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Adan and Silas Ramirez. She is preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Erin Ree Shackelford.

Funeral service will be held at Gospel Fellowship Church in Montezuma on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10:30 AM with Minister Tim Moore presiding. Burial will follow at Morningside Cemetery in Montezuma. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Montezuma on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from noon to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Debra Unruh Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
