SPEARVILLE - Delphine C. Peintner, 87, died September 20, 2011 at Presbyterian Manor of the Plains, Dodge City. She was born on September 9, 1924 at Offerle the daughter of Ben and Helen (Schreck) Indiek.

Delphine was a 1942 graduate of Windthorst High School. On October 22, 1947 she married Hugo Peintner at Windthorst. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1995. She was a secretary for the Windthorst and Spearville School Districts for many years. Delphine was also a volunteer with Hospice of the Praire in Dodge City

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Spearville and the Daughters of Isabella of both Windthorst and Spearville.

Mrs. Peintner is survived by two sons, Robert Peintner and wife Jolene of Spearville and Gary Peintner and wife Jody of Holyoke, Colorado; two daughters, Linda Sanko and husband Don of Hays and Jan McConnell and husband Jeff of Marietta, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, John Indiek of Offerle, Tony Indiek of Spearville, and Victor Indiek of Corona Del Mar, California; and sister, Esther Andre of Dodge City. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Clarine Durler and Berna Donnermeyer.

Vigil Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 7:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ted Stoecklein presiding. Daughters of Isabella rosary will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, September, 22, 2011. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Windthorst.
