Cimarron - Demetrio Rosales Jr., 43, died June 29, 2016 at his home . He was born on September 9, 1972 at Tribune, KS the son of Demetrio Sr. and Nora (Salazar) Rosales.

He enjoyed fishing, music and spending time with his friends and family. Mr. Rosales also loved working in his yard and being outdoors. He played the drums in his families band. He married Chelly Smith on October 19, 1996 in Garden City, she survives.

Survivors include his wife Chelly Rosales of the home; one daughter Marika Rosales of Cimarron; his parents Demetrio Sr. and Nora of Ingalls; one sister Erma Rosales of Hollis, Oklahoma; Mother and Father-in-law Tom and Pam Smith of Cimarron and several nieces and nephews, and his dog Ness.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother Gregg Rosales and one sister Consulo Rosales.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Peter Tran presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Ingalls. Memorials are suggested to Demetrio Rosales Jr. Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
