Dodge City - Dennis Jantzen, 64, died November 28, 2025 at his home in Dodge City. He was born on January 7, 1961 in Dodge City, the son of Nelson and Patrica (Nusz) Jantzen.

Dennis began his education in Montezuma, where he completed grade school and middle school. Dennis attended high school in Dodge City. While in high school, he worked for Max Deutschendorf on his custom harvest crew. Following graduation, Dennis went on his first of many adventures. He moved to Utah for a time before returning to make his home in Dodge City.

Upon returning to Dodge, Dennis found work at Western Brake and Gear as a mechanic. He retired in September of 2025. Dennis enjoyed gaming and comic books and was an avid fan of Marvel and Dungeons and Dragons. He treasured his time at family gatherings and looked forward to his weekly conversations with mom and dad.

Dennis is survived by his siblings, Kevin Jantzen of Long Island, Kansas and Annie Stegman and husband Tron of Hugoton, Kansas; nieces and nephews, TJ Williams, Jayde Jantzen, Hayden Jantzen, Avory Stegman, Triston Stegman, and Terron Stegman; great nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
