Garden City - Diana Conejo Medina, 34, passed October 17, 2024 in Garden City, Kansas.  She was born on December 27, 1989 in Juventino Rosas, Guanajuato, Mexico.

She was raised in Dodge City, Kansas but was currently residing in Garden City, Kansas. Diana was the oldest surviving daughter of Claudio Conejo Rodriguez and Luz Maria Conejo Medina. She enjoyed spending time with her grandparents, sisters, nieces and nephews. She loved the kids as if they were her own.  She enjoyed traveling to Mexico and cooking was a great passion of hers. On her free time, she was an entrepreneur that loved to hand craft personalized gifts. After high school Diana received a certification in cosmetology. A few years later she pursued a career in accounting and business administration where she obtained her associates degree and was working towards her bachelor's.

She attended St Mary Catholic Church in Garden City.

She is survived by her sisters, Patricia, Katy, and Claudia Conejo Medina; maternal grandparents, Felipe Medina Ojeda and Catalina Medina Raya Troche; and her nieces and nephews, Angel Geovanni Conejo, Anthonie Medrano, Luz Esmeralda Deleon, Augrelio Frank Deleon, Rita Antonia Torres, Jeremiah Torres, Ximena Guadalupe Muñoz, and Johnny Torres.  She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew Antonio.

Funeral service will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at noon with Father Jacob presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at St. Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 starting at 3:00 PM with a vigil at 6:00PM.  Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com .

Le sobreviven sus hermanas Patricia, Katy y Claudia Conejo Medina; abuelos maternos, Felipe Medina Ojeda y Catalina Medina Raya Troche; y sus sobrinos y sobrinas, Angel Geovanni Conejo, Anthonie Medrano, Luz Esmeralda Deleon, Augrelio Frank Deleon, Rita Antonia Torres, Jeremiah Torres, Ximena Guadalupe Muñoz y Johnny Torres.  Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su sobrino Antonio.

El funeral se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica St. Mary, Garden City, el jueves 24 de octubre de 2024 al mediodía, presidido por el padre Jacob.  Seguirá el entierro en Maple Grove en Dodge City.  El velorio será en la Iglesia Católica St. Mary el miércoles 23 de octubre de 2024 a partir de las 3:00 p. m. con una vigilia a las 6:00 p. m.  Se sugieren donaciones a la familia a cargo de la funeraria.  Se pueden compartir pensamientos y recuerdos en el libro de visitas en línea en www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
