Dolores Juanita Lloyd, 89, died March 4, 2011 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. She was born on December 20, 1921 at Gainesville, Texas, the daughter of Travis and Hettie May (Bronlow) Johnson.

Dolores moved to Dodge City in 1949. She married Roland D. "Jack" Lloyd on March 17, 1950 in Kingman.

She was a member of the Church of Christ of Dodge City.

Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her husband, Roland D. "Jack" Lloyd of Dodge City; one son, Davie Lloyd of Dodge City; two daughters, Kay Deaver and husband Denny of Dodge City and Norma Clare and husband John Martin of Dodge City; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Alan Ray Lloyd; her parents; three brothers; three sisters; and two great grandsons, Dakota and Benjamin.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Gary L. Bennett presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from Noon to 6:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Church of Christ or Presbyterian Manor of the Plains in care of the funeral home.
